Refunds and Cancellations

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This policy covers how you cancel RecBaba, when access ends, and that paid plans are not refunded. Related: Terms of Service, Pricing, Privacy Policy.

1. Free plan

Local recording and editing are free. RecBaba-hosted uploads and share links are on Pro and Max, so there is nothing to refund on Free. Google Drive saves use your own Drive quota.

2. Canceling a paid plan or add-on

You can cancel a paid plan or storage add-on at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep Pro/Max (or add-on) access until that date, and the next renewal is not charged.

Switching plans starts a new billing cycle immediately. We do not prorate unused time when you cancel or switch.

3. Failed renewals

If a renewal charge fails, the subscription stays in a 5-day grace period. If it still fails, we move you to Free (or remove the add-on). Hosted files are not deleted immediately. If you are then over the new storage limit, you have 7 days to delete files, download them, or resubscribe. After that we delete the oldest RecBaba-hosted recordings needed to fit the limit, preferring videos that are not currently shared.

4. Refunds

Paid subscriptions and storage add-ons are non-refundable. Canceling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period, including unused time.

If you were charged in error — for example a duplicate payment — email support@recbaba.com with the payment reference. We will review billing errors and any refund required by applicable law. We aim to reply within two business days.

5. Account deletion

Deleting your account from Settings immediately deletes RecBaba-hosted recordings. Local files that were never uploaded stay on your computer. Files you saved to Google Drive stay in your Drive until you delete them there. Paid subscriptions should be canceled first so they do not renew.
