Acceptable Use Policy

RecBaba is built for legitimate screen recording, editing, and sharing. By using the service, you agree to follow these rules. This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Related: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, how privacy works.
1. Lawful use only
You may not use RecBaba to create, store, or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or violates applicable law in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for obtaining consent before recording others where required.
2. No abuse of sharing links
Shared links must not be used to distribute malware, spam, harassment, or content that violates our terms. You may not attempt to guess, scrape, or brute-force private links to access recordings you were not given access to.
3. No service disruption
You may not attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure. Automated scraping of the website or API beyond normal use is not permitted.
4. Respect for others
Do not use RecBaba to record private conversations, credentials, or sensitive personal data without permission. When sharing recordings, use password protection and expiration where appropriate.
5. Copyright and notice-and-takedown
If you believe a shared recording infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@recbaba.com that includes: your contact details, a description of the work, the share link, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act. We may revoke the share link, remove the uploaded file, and suspend the account that posted it. Repeat infringement can lead to account termination under the Terms of Service.
6. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts, revoke share links, or remove uploaded content that violates this policy or the Terms of Service. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where required by law. Termination does not limit any indemnification or other rights under the Terms.
