# RecBaba Features — Capture, Edit, Share, Brand, Drive

Recording, editing, sharing, Brand Kit, and Drive are separate on purpose. Start with capture. Everything else is a choice. Brand Kit is Max-only and only applies after Share.

- 4K Screen Recorder: capture a tab, window, or the whole screen — up to 4K — with mic and computer audio, without an account.
- Video Editor: trim, crop, and export an MP4 on your computer. Captions and music mixing are on Pro and Max. Opening the editor never starts an upload.
- Sharing: click Share to upload. That is the only step that uploads. Transcript after Share on Pro+. Summary and chapters on Pro and Max.
- Brand Kit: Max. A share-page studio — logo, theme, content blocks, and an end-screen CTA. Links stay on recbaba.com/share; there is no custom domain.
- Google Drive: save a finished file to Drive only when you ask. Browser-to-Google. RecBaba never sees the rest of your Drive.

## What happens where

- Account needed? Recorder no. Editor no. Sharing yes, only to create a link. Brand Kit yes (Max). Drive yes, plus a separate Drive permission.
- Leaves the computer? Recorder no. Editor no. Sharing only after Share. Drive only after Save to Google Drive.
- Where the video lives: recorder and editor on your computer; RecBaba-hosted share links on Pro and Max after you share; Drive in your own Google Drive.
- Skippable? Recording is step one. Editor, sharing, Brand Kit, and Drive can all be skipped.
